By accessing or using CitiesUnlocked ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and members.
CitiesUnlocked is an insider city intelligence platform that provides curated, expert-sourced information about nightlife, food, culture, and experiences in select global cities. Access to certain content ("Expert Intel") requires an active paid membership for the relevant city node.
Memberships are sold on a monthly, annual, or lifetime basis per city node. Payment grants access to Expert Intel, members-only locations, and any additional features designated as member-exclusive. Memberships are non-transferable and tied to a single registered account. CitiesUnlocked reserves the right to revoke membership access for violations of these Terms.
Recurring subscriptions (monthly/annual) are billed automatically at the start of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time via your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued. Lifetime memberships are a one-time purchase with no refunds after 14 days from the date of purchase. CitiesUnlocked reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of initial purchase by contacting contact@citiesunlocked.com. Refunds are issued at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed. No refunds are provided for renewals of recurring subscriptions once they have processed.
You agree not to: (a) share, redistribute, or resell any member-only content; (b) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (c) attempt to circumvent any access controls or security measures; (d) scrape, crawl, or automate data extraction from the Platform; (e) post or transmit any content that is defamatory, harmful, or violates third-party rights. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.
All content on the Platform — including city intel, descriptions, curation, design, and branding — is the exclusive property of CitiesUnlocked or its licensed city partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent. Partner contributors retain authorship credit but grant CitiesUnlocked a perpetual, worldwide license to publish their submitted content.
City partners ("Operatives") contribute content under a separate Partner Agreement. CitiesUnlocked acts as the publishing platform and retains final editorial control. Partners are independent contractors, not employees. CitiesUnlocked is not liable for the accuracy or completeness of partner-submitted content.
The Platform and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. CitiesUnlocked does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any city intel. Venues, hours, and experiences may change without notice. Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CitiesUnlocked shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Mexico (for CDMX operations) and any applicable international laws. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Mexico City, Mexico.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
